Scuba Diving
Menorca is the perfect place to enjoy Scuba Diving. Whitesands has teamed up with local dive school Ulmo Diving who provide our guests with the ultimate dive experience. Located in Addaya near the Whitesands Country Club, Ulmo will take you scuba diving off the stunning north-east coast of the island. Perfect for the first timer, the experience diver, or for people looking to advance their skills and take a PADI course.
Ulmo offers a "try dive" for the beginner with no diving experience where you can dive with a fully qualified and experienced instructor. They also offer a full range of PADI courses. For the experienced diver there is a long list of dive sites available for you to choose from. Equipment can be rented and the centre also boasts a fantastic fully equipped scuba shop.
Addaya has a fabulous natural and upspoilt harbour and within minutes of leaving the port you will find yourself on Menorca’s north coast which is rugged and uneven and has many vertical drop-offs, coral encrusted reefs, caves and cavern with an abundance of marine life and lots of its own natural beauty. As a protected Biosphere Reserve, the water is warm and crystal clear and boasts 30 metres visibility.

Snorkelling
Of course there are costs associated with Scuba Diving so if you fancy a cheaper alternative which can be just as much fun why not try snorkelling off one of the many bays the island has to offer. Don’t forget one of the prettiest bays is on your doorstep at Whitesands Beach Club. If you need to hire equipment such as face masks/snorkel and fins (flippers) these are available at the ULMO Diving Centre shop.
